WordPress .zip Archiv über FTP entpacken

Zugegeben, ein direktes entpacken ist so nicht möglich aber mit einem kleinen Trick funktioniert es!

STEP 1 Unzip.php erstellen

Zuerst erstellt ihr die Datei unzip.php mit folgendem Inhalt:

$file = 'file.zip';

// get the absolute path to $file
$path = pathinfo(realpath($file), PATHINFO_DIRNAME);

$zip = new ZipArchive;
$res = $zip->open($file);
if ($res === TRUE) {
  // extract it to the path we determined above
  $zip->extractTo($path);
  $zip->close();
  echo "Yes! $file extracted to $path";
} else {
  echo "Doh! I couldn't open $file";
}
?>

STEP 2 WordPress .zip Archiv hochladen und umbenennen

Ladet Euch nun einfach die WordPress .zip Datei in das FTP Verzeichnis mit der unzip.php und benennt das WordPress Archiv in file.zip um.

STEP 3 Datei entpacken

Ihr müsst nun einfach auf Eure Homepage die unzip.php Datei im Browser aufrufen, z.B. https://www.mydomain.com/unzip.php und schon ist die Datei entpackt.
